1997 - "MICKEY MOUSE THE BLACK AND WHITE YEARS" Disney's Exclusive Archive Collection - Here they are. The only source ever made available that features all 33 of the first Mickey Mouse cartoons, which were produced in black and white from 1928 to 1935. 5 pristine Laserdisc's (only viewed once) packed with not only these 33 vintage cartoons but 1000's of original story sketches, a rare look at Mickey's first color appearance at the Academy Awards in 1932, an original pencil test sequence from "The Mail Pilot" and more. Also included is an 8 page booklet with storyline, color photo's and complete chapter index. Just find yourself a used laserdisc player on EBAY and you are in for a rare and unique experience. From the mid-1930's, 6 Silly Symphony book pages shrink wrapped onto cardboard. The titles of the 2 books that these pictures came from are: The Tortoise and the Hare and The Wise Little Hen. 1973 - The large hardcover book - "Walt Disney's Magic Moments", 1st Edition, published in Italy. The book is in English. It is basically several Mickey & Donald cartoon story lines with still pictures from these cartoons. Most are in color and the first 2 or 3 are black and white, examples: "Plane Crazy", "Don Donald", "The Brave Little Tailor" and about ½ dozen more, making up close to 200 pages. Some of the pages have separated from the spine do to poor quality glue that was used to bind the book. The pages are all still near to perfect other than 20 to 30 being separated.
